About Race Parts Depot
One program's surplus, sold the way we'd want to buy it
Race Parts Depot sells used and reconditioned Porsche Cup race parts — surplus pulled from working Cup cars across the 996, 997, and 991 platforms, plus select Cayman GT4 Clubsport stock, with 992-generation support coming as those cars begin producing surplus. Every part came off a car we know or a shelf we manage. Nothing here is consolidated salvage, auction-lot mystery stock, or drop-shipped inventory we've never touched.
Where the parts come from
A professional Cup program generates surplus constantly: take-offs from scheduled rebuilds, bodywork rotated out at refresh intervals, new-old-stock over-ordered for seasons that ended, and platform inventories left behind when the program moved to newer cars. That equipment is usually excellent — much of ours has never been installed at all — and it accumulates faster than any one team can use it. Race Parts Depot exists to move that surplus to the people who need it: club racers, privateer teams, and shops keeping older Cup cars on track long after factory supply has thinned.
What we do before a part gets listed
- Identify against the factory catalog. Every part is verified against Porsche's own parts catalogs — we maintain a research library covering the Cup and Clubsport platforms we sell — and listed under its factory part number. Fitment is never a guess; the listing states the platform the catalog states.
- Grade it, conservatively. Condition is disclosed as a grade on our published 1–5 scale. When a part sits between grades, it takes the lower one. The grade is the disclosure — we grade what we can physically inspect and verify.
- Show it honestly. Listings lead with the part number, state exact fitment, and carry a factory-diagram reference or photograph for identification.
What we are, and what we aren't
We're a parts operation run with race-shop discipline, not a marketplace. That cuts both ways: our catalog is smaller than a consolidator's, but every line in it is a part we've handled, identified, and graded ourselves. We won't list a part we can't verify, we won't invent a condition story, and we don't publish usage claims we can't stand behind.
Used competition parts are sold as-is for off-highway / motorsport use only — see our terms for the full picture, and expect safety-critical components to need a professional inspection before service, whatever their grade.
Looking for something specific?
The catalog grows in batches as program shelves turn over. If you need a part number you don't see, send it to us — we check requests against incoming surplus, and early asks genuinely shape what gets listed first. Start browsing by platform on the home page or go straight to the full catalog.
