A single 1–5 scale, stated on every listing. No guessing what “used” means.

  1. Grade 5 New/NOS Never installed. Original packaging, or an unfitted take-off with zero use.
  2. Grade 4 Excellent Installed but barely used. No damage, no repairs, minimal visible wear.
  3. Grade 3 Good Normal competition wear. Fully functional, cosmetic marks only.
  4. Grade 2 Fair Functional but tired. Heavy wear, near a service limit, or cosmetic damage. Plan a refresh.
  5. Grade 1 Core / As-is Damaged, life-expired, or function unverified. Sold for rebuild, donor use, or display.
